Unified state system of certification and standardization in Ukraine ‘UkrSEPRO’ was created to verify the quality and reliability of products or services, as well as stability of production in conformation with Ukrainian state regulatory documents – standards (DSTU, TU, GOST, etc.).
Products certified in the system ‘UkrSEPRO’ are recognized by the certification systems of CIS countries on the available bilateral agreements. If your products have been already certificated in the CIS countries, they can also be recognized in Ukraine through a ‘Certificate of Recognition’ issued in the system ‘UkrSEPRO’.
Products which are indicated in the ‘Order of Gospotrebstandart of Ukraine № 28 from February 1, 2005’ must be certificated. If the products, according to the list, do not possess a valid certificate of conformity, than the import, distribution and selling them will be pursued by applicable legislation.
For products which are not in the list, there is a voluntary certification scheme. For the producer and seller the availability of certificate is an indication of the recognition of product’s quality, and also increases its competitiveness and attractiveness for the ultimate buyer.
